EDI/ETL: Hire CIO, Inc. team designed, built and continues to lead the development and support of the entire EDI systems and processes for a Large Insurance Company.

Data Center Consolidation: Hire CIO, Inc led, implemented and supported the development of the mainframe migration plan enabling agencies to transfer their remaining mainframe applications and systems to “Shared Services”. The success of this transition enabled our client to utilize this project plan as the road map for current and future migrations. Our staff continues to work to migrate other agencies.

Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence: Hire CIO, Inc. was selected to lead the design, development and implementation of the Database-As-A-Service offering for a major client. This initiative is designed to build a sound Oracle Database Model that our client will leverage to reduce their cost of hardware, software, license fees and support.

Enterprise-Level Infrastructure Application Re-design: Hire CIO analyzed and assessed the applications of a large State agency enterprise-wide. We recommended a solution to rebuild old applications and automate manual processes using an affordable approach. We have been rebuilding this agencies application infrastructure one application at a time, module by module. We leveraged the agile methodology and rebuilt the application infrastructure in a C# .NET, Oracle environment.

Network Assessment: On this assignment, we were in charge with analyzing, assessing and addressing network and application performance issues. Our assessment process quickly enabled our team to identify issues, be it within the network configuration, design and/or implementation, or simply just in the way a server was set up for an application. Our assessment process allows us to scale and customize the approach whether the work is being done for a large, enterprise-level operation, to smaller initiatives, such as setting up a small network in a physician’s practice.

Performance Improvement Initiatives: The majority of our work involves reviewing and assessing current work flows, and recommending technology-based solutions to improve those processes.

Healthcare and Insurance Expertise: We are currently assisting a large insurance organization in the implementation of a new COTS Claim System. We support virtually every area of the IT organization in some manner, providing Project Management, Business Analysis, Programming, EDI Experts as well as Network Infrastructure expertise. Ancillary projects include data analysis, EDI, ICD-9 to 10 Conversion, Interface Development, Report Analysis, Medicare Integration, to name only a few.
